ABOUT FOSTERING CROSSROADS

Fostering Crossroads grew from a very clear need in Scott County for resources and support of certified foster families, and post-foster adoptive families. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit hub comprised of a team of supportive community members which includes businesses, teachers, current and retired foster families, current and retired post-foster adoptive families, local non-profit partnerships, and community volunteers. Together we can continue to network and support our foster families and children at the crossroads of this life journey.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to provide resources and support to Scott County foster families and post-foster adoptive families through networking, connection, events, activities and resource referrals through a transparent and supportive registered non-profit organization. We wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village to support our communities children and their temporary foster families. We acknowledge that together, combining businesses, volunteers, organizational partners, we can surround our foster families with the resources and support to continue the fostering life to the best of their abilities. Together, it truly takes a village to encompass and encourage our county's foster families with a range of resources from clothing and food pantries to emergency placement bags to currently available courses for licensure to fun and local foster family activities.
This mission drives the vision of Fostering Crossroads . . .

Together, WE are the village.
